You couldn't wish for a better place to unwind. Angel of the North

You could spend every visit simply relaxing on the Park. But there's so much to see and do on your doorstep too! Picturesque Hexham is your nearest town, (approximately 5 miles), recently voted Britain's favourite market town by Country Life magazine, and winner of two categories in the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom competition. Its magnificent abbey was founded in 674AD and it is an interesting mix of historic buildings, enticing streets, lively independent shops and High Street retailers.

"This park was a good place to explore Hexham, Corbridge, Hadrian's Wall, Cragside, Alnwick Castle and other places of interest, such as Wallington. It was a peaceful location and there was a lot of nice walks in the surrounding locale."
